Request deletion of your data
Viuz only stores what we need to connect the Instagram or TikTok accounts you chose to authorize. The profile id, profile username, the OAuth token issued to us, and cached performance metrics so your dashboard loads fast. We never receive or store your password.
What gets deleted
- OAuth tokens and the scopes we were granted on your behalf.
- Platform account metadata. Username, profile picture, and any display name we cached.
- Cached insights and media metadata we pulled to render your analytics views.
- Any scheduled-post rows still queued against that account at the time of deletion.
What does not get deleted
Content you authored inside Viuz. Posts, captions, brand profiles, uploaded assets. Belongs to the brand, not to the individual platform account. We leave it in place because other members of your team may still be using it. To remove brand-owned content, the Owner of the brand must delete the brand itself; email privacy@viuz.ai and we will walk you through it.
How to request deletion
Via Facebook or Instagram
Open Facebook Settings → Apps and Websites, find Viuz in the list, and click Remove. Meta fires our deletion callback as soon as you confirm, and the removal starts automatically on our side. No email required.
Email our privacy team
Write to privacy@viuz.ai from the email address tied to your Viuz account. Include the Instagram handle (or TikTok username) you want unlinked. We respond within 30 days and confirm once the data is gone.
Confirmation code
If your deletion was triggered through Meta, we returned a confirmation code and a status URL of the form /data-deletion/{code}. You can revisit that URL any time to check progress. The page shows whether the request is pending, completed, or needs manual follow-up.
